Previously, I was using Wix, which is pretty easy to use—I recommend it if you want to build a simple website. Wix offers many plugins that let you add features like an online shop, booking services, and more.
Why did I switch from Wix to WordPress? Simply because I wanted to learn how to build websites with WordPress, even though I’m using Elementor, which requires no coding. That’s all there is to it!
So, when should you choose Wix or WordPress?
When to Choose Wix?
- You need a simple, no-fuss website.
- You prefer an easy drag-and-drop builder without technical know-how.
- You’re okay with limited customization for convenience.
When to Choose WordPress?
- You want full control, scalability, and flexibility.
- You plan to grow your website and add complex features.
- You prioritize SEO, ownership, and advanced functionality.
